To tune the previously mapped engine, we headed to our friend Marcin’s load dyno over at MAD Fabworx. https://madfabworx.com
After several tests with ignition timing and VTC/VTEC settings, we achieved a satisfactory and stable result of around 413 HP on 95 octane fuel. For the safety of the stock block and the current setup, we kept the boost at approximately 0.8 bar. In my opinion, the turbo choice is excellent; it allows for a safe torque curve that is gentle on the factory connecting rods, even without the use of advanced boost controllers. Of course, the turbo is just waiting to be 'unleashed' to show its full potential. Martin is planning a forged engine build, so this large turbo will be a perfect fit.
